Comment Policy

The purpose of this blog is to discuss on Government, Frugal Tips and Web 2.0 Technologies. Comments are welcome and we encourage comments.

We want to publish your comments, but we expect conversations to follow the conventions of polite discourse. Therefore, we won’t post comments that:

• contain vulgar language, personal attacks of any kind, or offensive terms that target specific ethnic or racial groups
• promote services or products (non-commercial links that are relevant to the blog post or comment are acceptable)
• are far off-topic
• make unsupported accusations.

We don’t edit comments to remove objectionable content, so please ensure that your comment contains none of the above. 

Additionally, we will not post comments from Any Government employees acting in their official capacity. Any such comments should be submitted through internal channels. This blog is intended solely to provide a discussion forum for external stakeholders.

Subject to our discretion, identical comments may not be posted to the discussion forum.

We recognize that the Web is a 24/7 medium and your comments are welcome at any time. However, given the need to manage federal resources, moderating and posting of comments will generally occur during regular business hours Monday through Friday. Comments submitted after hours or on weekends will be read and posted as early as possible the next business day.

This site will be open for comments until 5 pm on October 30th. EPA will not respond directly to any comments received in this forum, but comments will be included in a public docket for the purposes of any related future Agency rulemaking. We will post a link to the docket once the discussion forum is closed to further comment.
